CNN Studio Tour - the 50-minute guided Inside CNN Studio Tour lets you see behind-the-scenes action of the news room, including the Control Room Theatre, CNN Espanől, the Special Effects Studio, and the main newsroom.  daily 9am-5pm, $12 admission

World of Coca-Cola - memorabilia, video presentations and displays featuring the world-famous soft drink and its history.  new location in Pemberton Place near Centennial Olympic Park.

Georgia Aquarium - largest aquarium in the world showcasing 100,000 animals including whale sharks and beluga whales.  10am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-6pm Friday-Sunday, $24 admission, 4-D theater $5.50

Centennial Olympic Park - one of the most popular spots during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, the park features the world's largest Olympic Ring fountain, a free concert series at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, walking trails and more.

High Museum of Art - 19th and 20th century American works, European paintings, African and African-American art, photography and contemporary art, also featuring a special exhibition in partnership with the Louvre.  $15 admission

Fernbank Museum of Natural History - complex includes exhibition galleries and IMAX theater, a science center, planetarium, observatory and forest walking trails.  10am-5pm Monday-Saturday, noon-5pm Sunday, $19 museum and IMAX admission

Atlanta History Center - 32 acres of garden and woodland trails, Tullie Smith Farm, Swan House Mansion and restaurant and changing exhibitions on a variety of topics.  10am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday, noon-5:30pm Sunday, $15 admission

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site - features the birth home and tomb of Dr. King, a visitor center and a Peace Plaza.  daily 9am-5pm, free admission

Margaret Mitchell House, Gone with the Wind Movie Museum in Marietta - visitors can tour the mansion apartment where Margaret Mitchell lived and authored Gone with the Wind.  The Museum features the largest collection of movie memorabilia.  House daily 9:30am-5pm, $12 admission; Museum 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday $7 admission

Atlanta Botanical Garden - 30 acres of gardens, an urban forest, wildflower trails, conservatory and orchid display.  9am-7pm Tuesday-Sunday, $12 admission

Zoo Atlanta - located in historic Grant Park, over 200 species from the African plains and Asian forests.  9:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm Saturday-Sunday, $17.99 admission

Turner Field - Braves regular season games through September, Braves Museum and Hall of Fame with two new Hank Aaron exhibits

The Varsity - an Atlanta institution for almost 80 years, world's largest drive-in

CityPass
CityPass Atlanta includes discounted admission to 6 famous attractions: the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, the High Museum of Art, the Inside CNN Studio Tour, your choice of the Fernbank Museum of Natural History or the Botanical Gardens, and your choice of Zoo Atlanta or the Atlanta History Center.  The pass can be purchased online or at any of the participating attractions for $59 US.

MARTA
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) offers bus and rail transportation throughout the city.  One-way fare is $1.75, and tickets can be purchased at any rail station.  A 7-day unlimited pass is sold at RideStores and Breeze vending machines for $13.  Rail service runs approximately every 20 minutes from 5:00am - 1:00am Monday through Friday and 5:00am - 12:30 am on weekends.
