Promoting Regulatory Excellence 2008 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS ................................................................................. CLEAR wishes to solicit nominations for 2008-2010 members of its Board of Directors as well as for the position of 2008-2009 President-Elect.
Two board
seats and the office of president-elect will be available in September 2008.
One incumbent is eligible to run for re-election to
their current board
seat. The President and the Immediate Past President will continue on the
board, as will six members whose terms expire in September 2009. CLEAR's Board of Directors meets at least twice a year in various North American locations. Expenses for attending these meetings as well as any other expenses incurred as a result of the office are borne by the individuals or the agencies/organizations they represent. Among the criteria you should consider when nominating yourself or someone else for office are knowledge of occupational and professional regulation, commitment to the goals and programs of CLEAR, service to CLEAR, demonstrated leadership, and demonstrated ability to commit the necessary time and expense.
