In their Winter Session, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AMVA) will consider a resolution to publicly discourage and identify homeopathy as an "ineffective practice." The resolution was submitted by the Connecticut VMA, based on research into what they consider questionable methodology of the studies suggesting that homoepathic remedies are effective. Supporters of homeopathy have submitted papers showing evidence of the benefits of homeopathic practice.
