Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has proposed regulatory reform that would consolidate the boards for barbers and cosmetologists into one board, eliminate the Board of Registration of Radio and Television Technicians, and cap relicensing fees for some professionals with lapsed credentials. This proposal is the third in a series of recommended reforms to simplify state regulations.
