A lawsuit against the Texas Medical Board alleges that the board has harassed doctors during discipline proceedings. The suit alleges that former board president pursued complaints against one of her competitors, the board unfairly targeted some doctors and retaliated against them.
In response to the lawsuit, legislation has been introduced that would require the board to tell doctors the names of the complainants and the names of expert witnesses in cases against them.
