Professional regulators are increasingly being tasked with developing continuing competency programs in order to meet demand from legislators and the public.  In response, regulators have created programs typically based on the programs that other regulators use, often without fully understanding the strengths, weaknesses and evidence underlying these choices in program design.  This webinar will provide regulators with the evidence behind multiple program design options and discuss their utility in achieving different program goals.

Presenter:

Kris Head is the principal of Kris Head Consulting, specializing in the design of continuing competency programs and organizational change management.  He has worked with several Canadian professional regulators to provide comprehensive design options based on the research literature so that regulators can make informed decisions based on what will work for their individual organizational goals.  Kris began his career as a Physical Therapist and in addition to two degrees in kinesiology and Physical Therapy, he has a Master of Science degree and an MBA.
