This session focuses on significant federal and provincial legislative changes to the regulation of medical aid in death. The speaker starts with the Supreme Court of Canada decision that has caused a change in the law and explains the new regimes from the perspective of a healthcare provider. In addition, the speaker will comment on the criminal law, employment law, and risk management implications of the new regulatory landscape.
