Position Title: Privacy and Access Officer

Employment Term: Full-Time, Permanent position
Salary: $76K to $86K per year
Based in Vancouver, the College is seeking to hire a privacy and information management professional to take on the permanent, full-time position of Privacy and Access Officer. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of relevant privacy legislation and will have public sector experience in managing and responding to information access requests, preparing privacy impact assessments, and responding to privacy breaches. The successful candidate will also have knowledge and experience in one or more aspects of information management, information governance and/or information security policy. The ideal candidate will have well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in summarizing and presenting complex information in various formats and settings, as well as demonstrated abilities to learn rapidly and to balance collaborative work with independently performed tasks.
