This has been an extremely busy and productive year for CLEAR. I entered my presidency on a bittersweet note following the events of September 11 and the forced cancellation of CLEAR's September 2001 conference.

The United States has presented a list of specific requests for liberalization of trade in services intended to spur similar action by its fellow World Trade Organization (WTO) members.
