This presentation will discuss the Loper Bright Enterprises case and its overruling of Chevron deference for federal administrative agencies. Part of the discussion will be regarding what Chevron deference was, the holding in Loper Bright, and how things may change for regulators going forward.
Learning Objectives:
*Provide a brief overview of Chevron deference and the Loper Bright Enterprises case.
*Briefly discuss states that have already implemented changes relating to deference prior to the Loper Bright Enterprises case.
*Discuss possible future impacts of the Loper Bright Enterprises on state licensing boards and regulatory bodies.
