Content includes: board member responsibility; defining "the public interest"; requirements for service on regulatory boards; how a board member can participate effectively; the purpose of appointing public members; and ethical considerations

Content includes: what is a rule; kinds of rules; authority to issue rules; when is a rule needed; writing a good rule; avoiding problem areas; regular procedures for adopting rules; notice and publication; public comment and hearing process; and emergency rulemaking

Professional Discipline

Early Bird Registration rate is $270 (USD) members / $340 (USD) non-members - Available through March 9. 

All registered attendees will receive an e-mail a few days before the sessions with instructions to access the CLEAR Learning platform. Do not forward the learning platform link to others; they will not be able to access the platform or sessions from a shared link.

Recognizing that not all live dates will work for all attendees, recordings will be made available to series registrants for any sessions you miss.  All recordings and course materials will be available for 30 days after the final module date.

Completion Requirement: Participants must complete the program within 30 days after the last module to avoid forfeiting their registration fee. Re-registration at full cost may be required otherwise.  We encourage you to plan accordingly for a smooth learning experience and timely completion.

•    Cancellations: Subject to a $95 USD service charge.
•    No refunds or credits for cancellations made less than two weeks before the program start date.
