Communication Skills and the Art of Persuasion – September 2026

The ability to communicate effectively is a key component of being a successful investigator — and a skill that can always be sharpened. CLEAR's Communication Skills and the Art of Persuasion workshop is a focused, single-session program that introduces participants to the core principles of effective communication and their practical application in a regulatory context.

This live virtual session covers:

• The building blocks of communication
• Preparation and delivery techniques
• The use of language and physicality to get your point across
• Listening skills
• Persuasive communication and argument
• Successful presentation skills

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to identify the components of effective communication, define and apply the building blocks of persuasive communication, compare models of persuasive argument, and implement successful presentation skills.

This program is delivered in a single live three-hour virtual session with no pre-work or independent study required.
