Event Details

CLEAR's National Certified Investigator/Inspector Training (NCIT) – Specialized Program offers advanced certification in three individual subject areas for regulatory investigators and inspectors who have successfully completed the NCIT Basic Program and passed the final exam. Building on the foundational skills established in the Basic Program, the Specialized Program takes participants deeper into the craft of regulatory investigation through interactive, applied learning.

The three subject areas covered in this program are:

  • Advanced Interviewing Skills
  • Advanced Investigative Analysis
  • Investigative Report Development

This program is delivered in a hybrid format that combines self-paced independent study with live, instructor-led sessions. The program is structured so that coursework requires no more than three hours per workday, minimizing disruption to your regular work schedule. The program culminates in a proctored online exam administered through the CLEAR Learning Portal.

Participants who successfully complete all three modules and pass the examination are eligible to receive NCIT Specialized digital badges in each subject area.

Once you have registered for the program, you will receive a link to register for the Welcome & Introduction Session — a live Zoom session hosted by CLEAR staff. During this session, we will walk through program expectations, how to navigate the learning portal, and what will be required of you throughout the program. Attending this session is strongly encouraged as it sets you up for success from day one.

Successful completion of this program requires attending all required instructor-led sessions, completing the assigned independent study, and passing the final exam.
