Wētā Workshop Experience Registration

On Thursday, December 4, attendees to CLEAR's 8th International Congress in Wellington can experience a one-of-a-kind social event — the Wētā Workshop Experience Tour.

Step inside the world-famous special effects and prop studio behind The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, King Kong, and Avatar. This guided tour takes you behind the curtain of cinematic magic, where you’ll see authentic film props, costumes, and models — and discover how Wētā’s artists bring imagination to life.

Round trip transportation is included in the registration fee.  

Schedule:

• Bus begins boarding at Takina: 4:50 p.m.
• Bus departs Takina: 5:00 p.m.
• Arrival at Weta Workshop: ~5:25 p.m.
• Tour: 5:30–7:00 p.m.
• Bus departs Weta Workshop: 7:15 p.m.
• Return to Takina: ~7:40 p.m.
