Event Details

Regulatory investigators and inspectors are often called upon to investigate reports of sexual misconduct involving licensed professionals — cases that require not only strong investigative skills, but also a thorough understanding of the unique sensitivities and complexities these investigations present. CLEAR's Investigating Reports of Sexual Misconduct workshop is designed to equip regulatory professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to handle these cases thoroughly, fairly, and with the care they demand.

This workshop is delivered in a hybrid format that combines self-paced independent study with live, instructor-led sessions. Participants begin by completing independent study content through CLEAR's Learning Portal, then attend two live two-hour virtual workshop sessions featuring:

  • A review of key self-study material
  • Facilitated Q&A and discussion
  • Small group case study analysis focused on sexual misconduct investigations conducted by regulatory agencies

The program opens with a brief welcome session and runs over two weeks. All live sessions are held in Eastern Time (ET).

Once you have registered for the program, you will receive a link to register for the Welcome & Introduction Session — a live Zoom session hosted by CLEAR staff. During this session, we will walk through program expectations, how to navigate the learning portal, and what will be required of you throughout the program. Attending this session is strongly encouraged as it sets you up for success from day one.

Successful completion of this program requires attending all required instructor-led sessions and completing the assigned independent study. All program components must be completed within 30 days of the program start date.

In keeping with CLEAR's commitment to sustainability, all virtual CLEAR Learning programs use eBooks in place of printed materials.
