National Certified Investigator/Inspector Training (NCIT) – US Basic Program – August 2026

CLEAR's National Certified Investigator/Inspector Training (NCIT) – Basic Program is a foundational professional development experience designed for regulatory investigators and inspectors at all stages of their careers. Whether you are new to the field or looking to formalize and strengthen your investigative practice, the NCIT Basic Program provides the core knowledge and skills essential to conducting thorough, fair, and defensible regulatory investigations.

This program is delivered as an intensive three-day, in-person training that combines instructor-led sessions with practical exercises and real-world case applications. Participants engage directly with experienced regulatory professionals in a collaborative, hands-on learning environment.

Day One: Introduction & Welcome, Professional Conduct, Principles of Administrative Law, Investigative Process.

Day Two: Principles of Evidence, Evidence Collection, Interviewing Techniques, Investigator Safety.

Day Three: Overview of Inspections, Report Writing, Testifying in Proceedings, Q&A, Examination.

Registration and check-in will take place at the training venue on the morning of Day One. Full program information and a detailed schedule will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the program start date.

Successful completion of this program requires attending all three days in their entirety and passing the final examination on Day Three.
