De-escalation in Practice:
Advanced Skills for Navigating High-Stakes Interactions

Building on strong interest in foundational de-escalation strategies, this interactive workshop moves beyond theory into applied practice. Designed for regulatory professionals and those working in high-stakes environments, this session emphasizes skill development through immersive, scenario-based learning.

Participants will briefly revisit core principles of de-escalation before engaging in structured role-play exercises that reflect real-world challenges. Through guided practice, peer learning, and expert feedback, attendees will refine their communication techniques, enhance situational awareness, and build confidence in managing complex and emotionally charged situations. By prioritizing experiential learning, this workshop offers participants multiple opportunities to practice, receive feedback, and apply new strategies in a supportive environment.

Attendees are encouraged to attend or view the Staying Calm Under Pressure: De-Escalation Skills for Regulators webinar as it provides foundational learnings on which the workshop will build.
