Winter Symposium Overview
CLEAR's Winter Symposium is held annually in tandem with the Midyear Business Meeting. This event provides a forum for CLEAR members and other regulatory stakeholders to convene to network, share best practices, and take a deeper look at a singular issue or topic facing regulators today. The Winter Symposium is a in-person only event.
Demonstrating Regulatory Effectiveness: Using Data to Support Proactive Regulation
Regulators are under growing pressure to demonstrate not only what they do, but the impact of their work. As expectations for accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes continue to increase, agencies are being asked to show how their regulatory activities contribute to public protection and where opportunities exist to improve. While many organizations collect significant amounts of information, transforming that data into meaningful insights, proactive decision making, and compelling evidence of effectiveness remains an ongoing challenge.
CLEAR's 2027 Winter Symposium will explore how regulators can use data more strategically to strengthen regulatory effectiveness and communicate the value of their work. Through presentations, case studies, and interactive discussion, participants will examine practical approaches for identifying meaningful measures, recognizing trends and emerging risks, supporting proactive regulation, and using data to tell the story of regulatory impact. Attendees will leave with ideas and strategies they can apply within their own organizations to make better-informed decisions and more clearly demonstrate the value of regulation.

CLEAR has secured a preferred room rate of $149+tax for our group. This rate will also waive the property's resort fee. Rooms are available Tuesday, January 5th through Thursday, January 7th, with limited availability on Friday, January 8th. The ability to extend the rate outside of the main travel dates will be at the property's discretion and based on availability at the time of booking. We strongly recommend booking your room early. A credit card will be required to make a reservation, and one night's deposit will be charged at the time of booking. If a reservation is canceled directly with the property three or more days prior to the reservation start date, the deposit will be refunded to the credit card used at booking, in full. The room rate is available until Tuesday, December 15, 2026 or until nights are sold out.
Midyear Business Meeting
CLEAR's 2027 Midyear Business Meeting will take place January 7-8, 2027 at the same property. Registration for the Business Meeting is free and open to all CLEAR members, and we invite you to attend. Separate registration for the Midyear Meetings is required.

CLEAR cancellation policy:
Cancellations made before Friday, December 4, 2026 are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations can be made up to Monday, December 14, 2026 with a $95(USD) service charge. Any cancellations made during the final two weeks before an in-person event will not be eligible for a refund. Registrant substitutions are welcome up to the date of the event.
