Call for Proposals Open: International Congress and Regulatory Research Day

CLEAR News,

The international regulatory community will gather in Belfast, Northern Ireland, June 9–11, 2027, for two of the profession’s most anticipated events: the Regulatory Research Day and the 9th International Congress on Professional and Occupational Regulation.

Hosted by CLEAR, these co-located programs will bring together regulators, researchers, accreditation authorities, practitioners, educators, and policy leaders from around the world to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of professional and occupational regulation.

As regulatory environments continue to evolve in response to technological innovation, workforce changes, public expectations, and emerging risks, these events provide a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, share knowledge across jurisdictions, and examine the research and practices driving regulatory excellence.

Exploring the Future of Regulation

The Regulatory Research Day and International Congress have long served as premier forums for advancing discussion on regulatory policy, practice, and innovation. Participants can expect thought-provoking presentations, research findings, case studies, and collaborative discussions that address both current realities and future possibilities for regulation.

By bringing together diverse perspectives from across professions and countries, the events foster valuable cross-jurisdictional learning and encourage new approaches to protecting the public while supporting effective professional practice.

Whether you are involved in professional licensing, accreditation, workforce regulation, policy development, or regulatory research, Belfast 2027 offers an opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world and contribute to important conversations about the future of regulation.
