Challenges with Georgia's new online licensing system

Georgia's new professional licensing system, GOALS, is causing delays for license applications and renewals, leading to an extension of the deadline for physical therapy renewals. Cosmetologists and occupational therapists were the next set of renewals. The Secretary of State's office has indicated that errors in the applications, such as e-mail addresses, are triggering issues, as well as system conflicts when someone holds multiple license types.
