North Carolina to allow military relocation licenses for physicians

The Health and Human Services Workforce Act in North Carolina will allow the North Carolina Medical Board to issue a physician or physician assistant "military relocation license" to service members or their spouses who are relocated to North Carolina on military orders and licensed in another jurisdiction with at least substantially equivalent requirements. Applicants must have no disciplinary action in the last five years and must have been actively practicing medicine for 20 hours per week in the last two years.
