Québec: nursing exam pass rate increases

An investigation and report on the nursing licensure exam in Quebec found that "the unusually low pass rates [in 2022 and 2023] were not attributed to the educational institutions but rather to shortcomings and weaknesses in the examination process," particularly a low reliability of the questions. The Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec had indicated the intention to make improvements to the exam based on the report's recommendations. Pass rates for the exam increased to 92% for spring 2024.
