Illinois offers scholarships for real estate appraiser candidates

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has partnered with the Appaiser Diversity Initiative to award scholarships to individuals seeking to enter the appraisal industry. Thirty-four individuals have participated in the program, each receiving up to $4,000 to use toward education as a trainee appraiser. The program's goal is to bring new people into the filed from diverse backgrounds.
