Nigeria and Ghana Pan-African Institute for Continuing Legal Education
The Nigerian Bar Association and Ghana Bar Association have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a Pan-African Legal Institute intended to strengthen legal education, professional development, and cooperation across African legal systems. The proposed institute would provide continuing legal education, training, research, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for legal professionals while promoting collaboration among bar associations and other legal institutions across the continent. The initiative is also intended to support greater consistency in professional standards and help lawyers respond to emerging issues affecting the legal profession, including technological and regulatory changes.
