Virginia DPOR appointed new director

A new director, Kishore S. Thota, was appointed to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation September 29. Thota previously served as Chief Deputy Director, during which time he established the Office of Performance & Innovation. Thota's priorities include digital modernization of DPOR systems and advancing diversity, opportunity and inclusion at DPOR.
