Yukon: changes to nurse and nurse practitioner licensing

New legislation in the Yukon will give greater flexibility for registered nurses and nurse practitioner licensing. The amendments will allow the Yukon Registered Nurses Association to enter into reciprocity agreements with other Canadian provinces, create new categories for student nurse licensure, allow the registrar to review and change membership classes for members, and allow failure to comply with a practice condition to be grounds for professional misconduct.
