Alternate pathways to state licensure for international medical graduates

The Federation of State Medical Boards, Intealth, and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education have established an advisory commission on alternate licensing models that will provide guidance on alternate pathways to licensure for international medical graduates. These alternate pathways could help improve patient access to care and reduce workforce shortages.
