Indiana becomes latest state to implement Counseling Compact
Indiana has become the latest state to implement the Counseling Compact, joining Arizona, Minnesota, Ohio, Louisiana and Georgia. The Compact allows licensed professional counselors to practice across participating state lines without obtaining separate licenses in each jurisdiction. The milestone marks a significant advancement in interstate licensure mobility, enabling counselors who meet compact requirements to provide in-person and telehealth services to clients in other member states while remaining subject to coordinated regulatory oversight.
