Report: "Reducing Barriers, Improving Outcomes" for LEP individuals

The National Immigration Law Center has released a report detailing policy interventions that Congress and federal agencies can take to address health disparities experienced by individuals with limited English proficiency. Recommendations include strengthening the availability of language access services, improving the quality of language access services, creating a universal language access symbol, and educating health entities about their civil rights obligations towards patients with limited English proficiency.
