Build Your Investigation Skills with CLEAR's NCIT Training This Fall and Winter

Strong investigations and inspections protect the public, and the people who conduct them deserve strong training. This fall and winter, CLEAR Learning is offering four ways to build your National Certified Investigator and Inspector Training (NCIT) skills. You can start with the fundamentals, move on to advanced work, or choose focused workshops on the topics that matter most to your caseload.

All programs are delivered online, combining self-paced learning with live instructor-led sessions. CLEAR members save 20% on every CLEAR Learning course.

Start with NCIT Basic

More than 25,000 regulatory discipline and compliance professionals have gone through NCIT Basic. It is CLEAR's foundational training and certification program in investigation and inspection techniques and procedures.

The U.S. version begins October 29, and the Canadian version follows in January. Completing NCIT Basic also opens the door to the Specialized program and other advanced CLEAR courses.

Go further with NCIT Specialized

Already completed NCIT Basic? The NCIT Specialized program is CLEAR's advanced training for regulatory investigators and inspectors who want to deepen their expertise. The next session runs October 15 to 29, 2026, which means registration is open now and the session starts soon.

Build your own bundle with the Subject Matter Workshop Series

CLEAR's new NCIT Subject Matter Workshop Series lets you choose the topics that fit your professional goals. From December 1 to 9, 2026, you can choose one or more of these four workshops:

• Drug Diversion Investigations
• Investigating Reports of Sexual Misconduct
• Communication Skills and the Art of Persuasion
• Developing a Professional Attitude: Ethics for the Regulatory Investigator

The more workshops you add to your bundle, the larger your discount:

The workshops are delivered virtually through the CLEAR Learning Portal. Each combines self-paced learning with live instructor-led sessions, so you can build targeted skills in less than two weeks and get the most from your training investment.
